Access for the General Public
The UCSF Fresno Medical Library is accessible to all UCSF and UCSF Fresno employees with badge access. UCSF purchases academic licenses for library resources (journals, ebooks, etc.) and they are only accessible to UCSF faculty & voluntary appointments (as designated by deans and provost), staff (per HR), and students (per registrar – note that visiting medical students are considered UCSF students by the registrar).

PubMed Central® (PMC) is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM).
This link will provide you with research guides curated by UCSF subject experts, on a variety of topics. Example, e-books, copyright, grants, etc. Hyperinks within each guide may contain resources only available to UCSF affiliates.
OpenMD.com is a search engine that makes high-quality medical information easily accessible to everyone and prioritizes freely-accessible content whenever available. OpenMD searches billions of documents from government agencies, global health organizations, medical journals, and reference sites.
